My name is Susan Murray-Carrico, and I live in the beautiful state of Colorado within view of Pikes Peak or “America’s Mountain.” Originally from Chicago, I now call this my home with my husband, daughter, brand new son-in-law, and my fur babies.
I have a B.A. and B.S. in German, and an M.Ed. in Human Development and Learning. I have served as a classroom teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in addition to having been a university lecturer. Currently, I serve as a Technology Integration Specialist, Digital Learning Coach, and our district learning management system manager. Some of my favorite tools are Schoology, Kami, Edpuzzle, Canva, Padlet, Book Creator and all things Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft Education. Each has its strength and purpose in advancing what is possible in Education and most can work together toward that goal. I am pursuing an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Instructional Design and Technology. This course begins my second year on my journey at Liberty University. It is my hope that the journey will lead to the next steps in pursuing professional learning and technology integration positions. Regarding this course specifically, I am looking forward to improving how I support teachers with technology integration.

Susan Murray-CarricoI am a Technology Integration and LMS Specialist by title, but lifelong learner in practice. An Apple Teacher, Google Certified Educator and Microsoft Innovative Educator, my goal is to assist educators in investigating and exploring resources to embed in their instruction. I also hope to be a part of their journey toward an innovative and transformative practice that empowers learners and strengthens their own craftsmanship. I spends my free time with my family, my dogs and a good cup of coffee. Categories
